No offence to 64-year-old Sibusiso Mthembu, but hearing his story just made me laugh out loud. Of course, the South African from KwaZulu-Natal tells it in all seriousness. And who knows, he may even be telling the truth about having visited heaven four times, so far. The first time was in 1998, and subsequent visits were made in 2004, 2006 and 2008. It all started in 1993, when a white man (an angel, apparently) paid him a visit and told him he was needed in heaven. And now, after several visits, he’s drawing a map to make sure the rest of us ‘unlucky’ ones get what he’s talking about. Facebook’s flying-internet efforts mirror a similar project that’s underway at Google. The Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, is putting together a lab where a team of Facebook engineers will build flying drones, satellites, and infrared lasers capable of beaming internet connections to people. Mr. Zuckerberg on Thursday revealed the project to be known as the Facebook Connectivity Lab. According to Mr. Zuckerberg, the lab’s engineering staff already spans “many of the world’s leading experts in aerospace and communications technology,” including researchers from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab, NASA’s Ames Research Center, and the National Optical Astronomy Observatory. The company is also now adding engineers from a British company called Ascenta, an outfit that helped create the world’s longest solar-powered unmanned aircraft. It comes as a surprise that Nigerian rapper, Olamide appears to be one of the many baby daddies like Ice Prince, Wizkid, Timaya, May D, Tuface and more in the industry today. Olamide, who has never hesitated to publicly declare his love for his long-time girlfriend, Adebukunmi Aisha Suleiman and who he says has always been there from day one, has a son with her. Apparently the yet to be married couple welcomed their son some years back and there are new reports that they are expecting their second child. Olamide has however chosen to remain silent and his manager Alex Okeke has also refused to respond.

Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, stormed out of the traditional marriage ceremony of Paul Okoye barely 30 minutes after he arrived, because the ceremony did not start on time. NET reports that the governor came in around 2pm and, as he alighted from his vehicle, his aides informed him that the event had not started and neither the couple nor celebrity guests had arrived. He responded, ‘If we wait for some time and they don’t come, we will leave. I don’t have time for all this.’ The governor posed for photos before entering the hall.
