Robben is a Very Good Diver -Wenger

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger repeated his criticisms of Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben, who earned his side a spot kick last night – just as he did in the first leg.

The Gunners’ first choice Goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny was ineligible for the return leg draw at the Allianz Arena following his sending off for fouling the Dutch winger in the penalty area during last month’s 2-0 loss.
Arsenal failed to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League for a fourth successive season, despite earning a 1-1 draw in Munich.
The reigning European and German champions failed to convert both penalties in either leg, but Wenger insists Robben “is a diver”.
“Robben is very good at getting the maximum of nothing,” said Wenger. “He is a great player and as well a very good diver, but it is part of it.
“He is a fantastic player, I would not deny that, he’s one of the best players in the world. But he gets in front of a player and then he slows down and goes down. He gets the free-kicks.”
Robben, on his own part, rejected the diving claims, stressing both penalties were the right calls.
“If you lose, don’t start complaining about silly things,” said Robben. “It was two penalties. I don’t want to defend myself. From a big manager, you expect a little bit more if you lose.”
