Actor Ik Ogbonna shares photos of policeman who robbed him of N50k


Ik narrates his story:
“On Saturday 8th of March 2014 I was robbed in traffic by this man who claimed to be a police man he took 50k from me .. I was able to take a pic while driving off as I had a lot doing and I Cldnt allow the foolish hungry bastard waste ma time . If u ever around ojuelegba surulere and u see this man be very careful . Ild report this to d police by tomrw but truth is… Not every police man deserves to be called an officer.”

Twenty-five students and two teachers of Ogba Junior Grammar School in Ogba, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, were yesterday evening rushed to a hospital after they inhaled emission from a toxic chemical. It was gathered that the unconscious students and teachers were immediately rushed to Blue Cross Hospital, located opposite the shopping mall for urgent medical attention. A medical doctor at the hospital declined to comment on the condition of the students and teachers. Polytechnic lecturers begin indefinite strike over new Salary scheme

  The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) has declared an indefinite strike action today April 6 to press home their demand for the implementation of a new salary scheme for polytechnic lecturers.   According to the union, the industrial action kicks off today, Tuesday, April 6th.   Making the declaration in Abuja after an unsuccessful meeting with the Federal government, the National President of ASUP, Anderson Ezeibe, said asides from the new salary scheme, the union is also demanding payment of salaries and promotion allowances owed lecturers by some state governments.   Ezeibe added that the union will be open for dialogue with the Federal Government to resolve the issues raised.

Kaduna lawmaker dies four months after he was reinstated by Appeal Court

  A member of the House of Representatives representing Lere Federal Constituency of Kaduna State, Suleiman Aliyu, has died.    According to Daily Nigerian, the lawmaker died in the early hours of Tuesday, April 6, at the Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital, Kaduna State after a brief illness. He was aged 53.   The deceased had in November 2020, won his case at the Court of Appeal which reinstated him as both the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and the winner of the February 23, 2019 House of Representatives election for Lere Federal Constituency
